NB365: Hossam Sif Aldin Of HS Empire
This is the sixth in a year-long ‘Love for Local‘ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Every day, a new portrait will be shared through Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Huddle, a media partner with Love for Local.
HS Empire is an Arab grocery store in Dieppe that also offers a variety of convenient services to its customers. It is also a meeting place for an entire community that chose not to give up as the effects of the pandemic began to be felt here.
As soon as he was able to do so, Hassam Sif Aldin offered delivery to his clients to do his part to keep everyone safe. It was important for him to continue to offer the halal products that his customers were looking for, but also to make sure that the virus did not spread in the community.
On his Facebook page, it says that every visit makes him happy. This short and sincere sentence sums up Hossam’s altruistic spirit: his business is based on community spirit, and it is an honour for him to be able to welcome the people he is proud to call his fellow New Brunswick citizens.
