NB365: Hossein Barar Of Dolma Food
This is the second in a year-long ‘Love for Local‘ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Every day, a new portrait will be shared through Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Huddle, a media partner with Love for Local.
Everyone loves Dolma Food in Moncton and Dieppe. For some it’s a boutique grocery store, for others it is a trusted resource to accomplish any and all culinary experiences they set their mind to.
For Hossein Barar, it’s a choice. The choice of New Brunswick, the choice to follow his passion, and the choice to rebuild his legacy after a devastating fire destroyed the original building on St. George street.
Whether grocery shopping, soaking up the rays on the rooftop patio or enjoying a catering or event experience – Dolma feels like home. For him, calling Moncton and Dieppe home is as much of a privilege as seeing his community support him every day. Come into the store empty-handed, and leave with delicious ingredients, inspiration, and a full heart.
