Moncton Celebrates Business at Excellence Awards
Moncton – More than 450 people gathered to celebrate the best of Moncton business at the 31st annual Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Wednesday night.
The awards celebrate the achievements of Greater Moncton’s business community in 11 categories.
“We are thrilled with the response to this year’s awards,” Chamber of Commerce CEO Carol O’Reilly said. “The great turnout to this week’s gala is a testament to the vitality and energy in the Greater Moncton business community.”
“Greater Moncton’s economy is leading the province and it is important that we take the time to celebrate the achievements of some of the many businesses who are leading that growth.”

Excellence in Business (Small and Medium Enterprises): Occupational Concepts Ltd.
Emerging Business: Host Event Management Inc.
Innovation: iQ Mortgage Strategy Inc.
Marketing: Acadie Nouvelle
Community Service: Acadian Construction
Environmental Excellence: Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport
Young Entrepreneur: Café Codiac Coffee Inc.
Newcomer Entrepreneur: iCubemedia Inc. (Educode Canada Inc.)
Inclusive Hiring: Fancy Pokket Corporation
People’s Choice: Café Codiac Coffee Inc.
The winners were selected by an independent jury of five local business leaders, the culmination of a process that saw a record 140 nominations submitted for the 2016 awards this summer. From those initial nominations, 30 finalists were selected to be honoured at the awards gala.
