Introhive’s decision to reduce staff is part of a larger trend that has seen the high levels of investment in the tech industry that started in 2020 dropping drastically.
In a memo sent out to employees late last week, the company said it was laying off 27 people, as it moved its St. John’s, Newfoundland flyer-packaging operations to the “highly-automated Halifax production centre, where production costs are significantly lower.”
