Venn Launches Program To Help Companies Scale Up
MONCTON – Tech and innovation hub Venn Innovation has launched Set to Scale, a program aimed at helping companies grow.
The Set to Scale program will bring processes that allow businesses to focus on the four key pillars for success, including people, strategy, execution and cash. It will engage Certified Scaling Up Coaches from around the country, who will work with participating companies on an individual basis for six to 12 months.
It’s based on entrepreneur Verne Harnish’s Scaling Up methodology that’s been adopted by thousands of companies globally.
“New Brunswick companies create amazing technology and products that provide high value to their clients and can compete on a global scale in their industries. Providing these companies with the processes and knowledge to execute on their growth objectives will lead to stronger companies in our province,” says Venn Innovation’s president and CEO Doug Robertson, in a release.
Certified Scaling Up coach Andy Buyting said the Scaling Up methodology allows companies to navigate through challenging times, as well as give them tools to capitalize on opportunities.
Venn’s Set to Scale program is backed by a non-repayable contribution of $297,010 from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
Companies that are interested can apply on Venn’s website until September 30.
