New Saint John Region Economic Development Agency Names Board
SAINT JOHN – Greater Saint John’s new regional economic development agency has named its board of directors.
Over 60 people across the community applied for the positions. The members of the inaugural board are:
- Cynthia Goodwin, CEO & Chief Consultant, CCGoodwin Consulting Inc. (transition board chair)
- Allison (Al) Walker, FCPA, CA, Vice-President of Taxation and Internal Audit, J.D. Irving, Limited
- Amy Lynn Patterson, Vice President Commercial Financial Services, Western New Brunswick, RBC Royal Bank
- Bill MacMackin, Vice President, Founder & Funeral Director, Select Community Funeral Homes
- David Alston, Founder & Coach, Marketswell and CoFounder of TimberTop
- Joel Richardson, Vice-President Public Relations, Cooke Aquaculture
- Dr. Petra Hauf, Vice-President Saint John, University of New Brunswick
- Thor Olesen, ICD.D, Chief Executive Officer, Great Northern Timber Group of Companies (GNT)
The Board also consists of six inside municipal directors.
The constitution of the board this month marks another milestone in establishing a singular economic development agency that will work to propel growth for the Greater Saint John region.
