6 Fredericton Patios To Check Out This Long Weekend
FREDERICTON – It’s looking sunny this long weekend! If you’re celebrating Canada Day in the province’s capital, you’re probably also looking for places to eat, drink and be merry.
Here are some patios you may want to check out:
The DIP Pool Bar + Grill at the Delta
If you’re looking to enjoy a drink after a dip in the pool, or dine with a view of the St. John River, the DIP Pool Bar + Grill is open from June to August for just that. You can walk in for some lunch, dinner, drinks or coffee. You can find this chic spot at 225 Woodstock Rd.
Graystone Brewing
Buy some craft beer for later or get your day drink on at this gorgeous patio on King St. If you’re hungry, you can often find the Monks & Jonesie Gastro Truck parked there, serving up everything from bite-sized mac and cheese to poutine and roasted pulled duck.
The Lunar Rogue Pub
Established in 1989, The Lunar Rogue’s outdoor patio has become a sunny day staple for the residents of Fredericton with its “down east, Maritime pub” atmosphere. In addition to pub-style food, the Lunar Rogue serves beverages on tap, wines, cocktails and more than 500 Single Malts and Premium Blends.
The Snooty Fox
Want to hang out higher up? Check out the Snooty Fox’s rooftop patio while enjoying food and drinks from the pub. You might encounter some live music, too.
Gahan House Riverside
Located on Queen Street, where the Vault 29 Bar & Grill used to be, Gahan House Riverside’s patio looks pretty chill for a lunch or supper with friends. You can also fill up a growler to-go with handcrafted ales from this Maritime brewery and pub.
Naru
If you want to eat some sushi and tempura while enjoying some breeze and sunshine, Naru’s patio on Queen Street might be a good option. The restaurant also serves other Japanese dishes.
