NB365: The Members Of Really Local Harvest Co-op In Southeast New Brunswick
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today we feature Kent Coates, Paul-Émile Doucet, Amélie Robichaud, Mariana Mora, Lydie Dalissier, Mathew Boucher, Carter Bentley, Hilaire Kabula, and Anass Chnani of Really Local Harvest Co-op.
Really Local Harvest is a cooperative of approximately 30 farmers in the South East New Brunswick region. Our members work hard to bring you authentic, fresh, healthy, and better-tasting local products.
What makes Really Local Harvest unique is that our organization contributes first and foremost to the economy of our cities and countryside, as well as to the prosperity of family farms, food security, the conservation of our heritage, and the sustainable development of Southeastern New Brunswick.
As an organization, we are involved in both agriculture and sustainable development.
Really Local Harvest is an organization that is dedicated to finding more profitable ways to help our local farmers and the various communities we serve. For example, we set up a virtual market to help our members and merchants survive economically during the pandemic, as well as the community, by offering them all their products when the Dieppe market was closed for what was not, ultimately, a short period of time.
We are stronger in unity and as local as can be.
