Venn Welcomes Three New Members To Incubator Program
MONCTON – Venn Garage has accepted three new N.B. startups into its Garage Program.
In a late August news release, Venn announced it has brought on three early-stage tech startups into its incubator program.
These startups include Praktical, a property assessment web app for realtors that provides buyers more realistic cost analysis; Ace, a physiotherapist and osteopath-owned Ai virtual assistant; and BestSupply, a digital platform for launching, managing, and improving business supply chains.
Venn welcomed its newest Garage program member businesses not long after it moved into its new location and innovation hub at 770 St. George Boulevard – the Junction. The new companies are the first Venn has brought on since its incubator program moved to the hybrid model.

Information released by Venn stated the new businesses were chosen from a pitch competition that took place in late July.
Membership in the Garage program entitles the startups to a berth at the Junction, and the opportunity to participate in workshops and coaching sessions.
The startups will also have access to resources, networks, and support with tech validation, early-adoption customers, and initial funding.
Norbert Demps, the entrepreneur in residence at Venn, said the new startups earned their berth at the Junction with “clarity, focus, and preparedness to move forward in business.”

“The incubator space within the Junction allows startups to be a part of a true tech community. They meet mentors, tech entrepreneurs, tech companies, and other startups, face-to-face, frequently, and regularly,” Demps said.
“Apart from this, their shared assets and resources can be used more effectively between everyone on their team. It is great to see we are moving the needle in the right direction.”
Earlier this year, Venn welcomed five new startups into its Garage Program.
Venn has helped more than 100 startups build their business presence to date, investing more than $4.7 million.
