Construction To Begin On New Quinn Court Apartments This June
RIVERVIEW–A Riverview developer is poised to add more apartments to the town’s growing housing stock.
Katie Downey, speaking on behalf of Quinn Court Luxury Apartments, confirmed that the company plans to build a second apartment building on Quinn Court.
Downey, co-owner and manager of Quinn Court Apartments and its parent company, Patmar Holdings Ltd., said the new apartments will be directly across the cul-de-sac from the first Quinn Court Apartments building, just off Gunningsville Boulevard.
“It’s exciting and hopefully opens up other opportunities,” Downey told Huddle.

The south side of Riverview is already a busy corridor of apartment development and several other apartment buildings are under construction in the Gunningsville Boulevard area. These include John McManaman’s Dobson Crossing development and the Dobson Landing subdivision.
Downey noted her father owns a great deal of land in the south part of Riverview–and sold some of that land to McManaman–the developer behind a high-rise apartment complex across town, on Coverdale Road.

Construction for the new 38-unit building is expected to start in June 2022. It will be the second phase of a plan to build three new apartment buildings on Quinn Court. Patmar Holdings also has plans for a third phase building at the corner of Gunningsville Boulevard and Quinn Court.
Downey was mum on who Patmar has hired to build the new apartments. She noted that a contract hasn’t yet been signed but said the new building will be a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, some with dens, with footprints ranging between 1,400 and 1,500 square feet.
“We cater to empty-nesters because of the large space. Due to the large rooms, they will be on the luxury side,” she said.

The new building will be directly next to the Winter Wonderland Sliding Hill, and near an entrance to the 58-kiolometre Dobson Trail footpath. Downey noted it will look almost identical to the first building Patmar Holdings developed on Quinn Court.
