NB365: Ken LeBlanc, Jeff Cormier, And Matt Weir Of PropertyGuys.com In Moncton
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today we feature Ken LeBlanc, Jeff Cormier, and Matt Weir of PropertyGuys, in Moncton.
I always knew that I wanted to be my own boss and have a direct impact on my community. When I started university, I started to notice a lot of “For Sale By Owner” signs around Moncton and that sparked an idea.
I learned that what people want most when selling their home is control over their sale, something that isn’t always offered in traditional real estate.
We aimed to give people the control they desired while also offering them a platform to sell their homes their way.
With some help from other partners, we decided to take the steps to create a private sales marketplace that would eventually become PropertyGuys.com, as we know it today.
As PropertyGuys.com is a homegrown business, we understand how important supporting the local economy is. Real estate ESPECIALLY relies on the professionals understanding their communities, which is why PropertyGuys.com adopted a franchise model.
Who better understands how to sell their home than the owner? And who better to help that owner sell than somebody that lives in their community?
We now have franchises all across the nation, in the United States and in South Africa for this very reason. Supporting local is so much more than a buzzword, it is the life force of PropertyGuys.com.
