Bulletproof Acquires American IT Firm
FREDERICTON – A Fredericton-based IT and cybersecurity firm is on a trajectory of growth after acquiring an American IT company.
Bulletproof Solutions Inc. announced that it acquired Terminal Exchange Systems in December.
In a Dec. 21 news release, Bulletproof staff said the companies will work together to deliver enhanced IT and cybersecurity services to existing and future clients in Terminals New England-based market and beyond.
This marks the continued expansion of Fredericton-based Bulletproof, a recent recipient of the 2021 Microsoft Security Partner of the Year award.
The acquisition will give Bulletproof access to American markets and follows the acquisition of SeNet International Inc.
“Bulletproof is fortunate to be in a state of unprecedented growth,” said CEO Chris Johnston.
“The timing couldn’t be better to welcome this experienced contingent of Terminal IT professionals to our Bulletproof USA team along with an additional office location in the northeast United States.”
As part of the acquisition, all of Terminal’s employees will join Bulletproof. Terminal founder Sankaran Ganapathi will join the company and serve in an advisory role.
Bulletproof has offices across Canada, the U.S., and on six continents, with more than two decades of IT and cybersecurity experience.
Bulletproof was named the Microsoft Security Partner of the Year for 2021 and is the 2019 three-peat Microsoft Canada IMPACT Award winner. It’s also a standing Microsoft Gold Partner, with 12 gold competencies, a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, and holder of the Microsoft Threat Protection Advanced Specialization.
Bulletproof is owned by New Jersey-based Gaming Laboratories International, which acquired the firm in 2016.
