Fredericton’s Introhive Says Employee Satisfaction Contributes To Higher Revenues
FREDERICTON — Introhive, a Frederiction- and Miami-based software company, is breaking records with two awards this fall.
Introhive is a revenue acceleration platform with customers like PwC and Grant Thornton. This November, the company made Deloitte’s Technology’s Fast 50 list for the third year in a row—the only Atlantic Canadian company to do so, making the list at number 32, with a growth of 495 percent since 2017.
The award is for the 50 fastest growing tech companies in Canada with the highest revenue growth percentage in the last four years.
CEO Jody Glidden said it was a goal of his to “three-peat.” He said he is proud of what his employees have been able to accomplish.
“We were really, really happy,” said Glidden. “But we had planned for this for a while to try to make this happen.”
This October, Introhive was also named one of the Best Workplaces for Today’s Youth. This award is a survey based on employee satisfaction.
“What we found is really working on employee development and giving people great career options, and everything makes employees a lot happier,” said Glidden.

Other requirements for the award include employing at least 30 percent millennials or younger and having 90 percent or higher agree that they are treated fairly regardless of age. Hiring 170 employees in 2021, over half of Introhive’s 400 employees are under the age of 32. Around half of the 400 are in New Brunswick, with the rest spread out over offices in Toronto, Nova Scotia, and London, England.
In the past, Great Places to Work has included Introhive on other lists like Best Places to Work in Canada and Best Places to Work for Women. Glidden said that he wants to bring more of the best talent to Introhive.
“Having really smart people and really driven people helps us achieve big things from the pro-business standpoint,” said Glidden.
Growing up in Atlantic Canada, Glidden said he is proud to bring attention to Atlantic Canada’s tech scene. Moving to Miami let him be closer to US investors and clients.
Right now, he is working on a business plan for 2022 and a three-to-five-year plan going forward. He said this involves lining up the right product, and the right sales team and the right marketing team to get the word out.
He said it is fun to take some time to work on the strategy part of the business, then spend the rest of the year executing that plan.
“We try to set pretty high goals,” said Glidden. “You don’t always achieve them, but you’re more likely to achieve something big if you do set high goals.”
