Pal Airlines Now Offering Fredericton Flights To Ottawa And Halifax
FREDERICTON— PAL Airlines, a Newfoundland-based company, now offers flights to Ottawa and Halifax out of Fredericton International Airport.
The new flights are set up to complement PAL Airlines’ flights existing flights from Fredericton to Deer Lake and St. John’s. Flights to Ottawa will go out on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while flights to Halifax will be Monday through Friday.
“With Canadians ready to start travelling again, we’re looking forward to welcoming passengers back on-board with our award-winning service and proud of how we are able to help the recovery in Atlantic Canada by introducing new destinations to our network and enhancing connectivity for our customers,” said Calvin Ash, president of PAL Airlines, in a press release earlier this week.
Easier access to Halifax and Ottawa will be useful for people in Fredericton who want to see family or need to do business in either city.
“These are key markets for our region, and the connection to Ottawa is especially important for government and military travellers,” said CEO of Frederiction International Airport Johanne Gallant.
For travellers that need a connecting flight beyond Halifax and Ottawa, PAL Airlines has interline agreements with Air Canada and WestJet.
“PAL Airlines expanding their service in Fredericton shows they have a great deal of confidence in our region,” saID Mayor Kate Rogers. “It’s an indicator of what we’ve known all along; Fredericton is well on its way to recovery and we’re coming back in a big way.”
