Former New Brunswick CIO Gerry Fairweather Joins VeroSource Solutions
FREDERICTON – Gerry Fairweather has been named VeroSource Solutions’ Vice President of Innovation and Analytics, the company announced Wednesday.
Fairweather will lead the company’s data science practice, building their data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning teams. He will also help with the development of VeroSource’s intellectual property.
“Over the past decade, I’ve collaborated with the VeroSource team on a number of digital health and digital transformation-focused government initiatives,” said Fairweather in a release. “I now look forward to working more closely together–expanding their health analytics offering and continuing to pursue projects that make a positive impact in communities across New Brunswick and beyond.”
Fairweather has worked in roles in healthcare IT and digital transformation for over 20 years. He worked as chief information officer (CIO) for the Province of New Brunswick and was responsible for the province’s information and communications technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and privacy and information management strategies.
VeroSource Solutions is a company that aims to provide digital transformation solutions for healthcare providers. They were founded in Fredericton in 2014 and have expanded to include team members across other Atlantic provinces and Ontario.
