NB365: Theresa Glanville Of Creek Village Gallery & Café In Woodstock
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Creek Village Gallery & Café in Woodstock. Theresa Glanville is the featured artist in the banner photo.
We felt there was a void in the St. John River Valley for a gallery supporting local artists and artisans. Adding to this vision was a cafe offering food using locally sourced, organic ingredients.
Years later and we’re still very proud of what we accomplished for our community. During these past months, we learned that our community has stood by us and supported us through these trying times. Creek Village Gallery & Café is a community space, and that has never been so true.
In the coming months and years, we look forward to re-enforcing the mandate of our coop of bringing art to our community and our community to art by once again holding art-related workshops, among other things featured in the programming.
Supporting local businesses has a real impact because small, local businesses are the foundation and backbone of every community, no matter its size.
