NB365: Cory O’Donnell Of Garnet’s Welding Shop In Woodstock
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Cory O’Donnell of Garnet’s Welding Shop in Woodstock.
At Garnet’s Welding Shop, we do truck and trailer suspension parts and repairs, springs, airbags and we also specialize in hydraulic hoses. We sell Bibeau dump bodies and we have a line-up machine for truck and trailers and also are a qualified NB inspection station.
People do not always go to trades when thinking about supporting local, but we are very much part of the local economy. Without the trust and support of our community, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love to do.
Choosing a local supplier for these kinds of jobs also allows people to create a more direct connection with the specialist, a connection that pays off in the long run. When you’ve known someone for a long time, you just end up doing things they like effortlessly because that’s how it works. Local has that kind of power, to keep on giving in many ways.
