NB365: Bobbie Jo White Of Bobbie’s Busy Bees In Florenceville-Bristol
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Bobbie Jo White of Bobbie’s Busy Bees in Florenceville-Bristol.
I went into business for myself because I previously worked for social development as a family support worker and seeing some of the situations that families go through pulled at my heart. After that, I became a foster parent and years after that I adopted two of the children that I previously had fostered. I wanted to give my time to those who needed it and appreciated it.
I am the owner and operator of Bobbies Busy Bees Childcare Facility and I have always wanted to own a childcare facility. In years prior I have worked in other childcare facilities and seeing the expressions on children’s faces while they learn new things warmed my heart and I loved being a part of their growth.
The growth and happiness of the children are my motivation. Working with the children throughout their development brings me so much joy and happiness. Seeing them learn new things fulfills me to no end and it is a pleasure to be part of my community in this capacity.
