NB365: Krista Touesnard Of The Tipsy Muse Cafe In Fredericton
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Krista Touesnard of The Tipsy Muse Cafe in Fredericton.
A café/performance venue combination has always been a dream of ours, and we felt it was a business model that, given the chance to grow, would flourish in our city.
Supporting local has a built-in ripple effect within the local business community. Many of us are in the same difficult situations, so cross-promotion and partnerships with other local businesses have been a move we feel very passionate about, and hopefully have benefitted all parties involved. When we work together, we’re stronger.
Next for us includes a second pop-up style location which we will be running all summer long. That’s a big move for us. Plus also elevating the coffee culture in Fredericton, through introducing new ideas, methods and further educating ourselves in perfecting the perfect cup of coffee, in any number of styles.
Supporting local businesses has a real impact because smaller, local businesses offer choice, style and innovation. We are the specialists in our respective fields and the quality and pride that goes into providing it speak for itself.
