SAINT JOHN — A staple stall at the Saint John City Market will reopen Tuesday, May 11.
Slocum & Ferris is reopening under the ownership of Joanna Killen and Corey Dugas.

The iconic shop, founded in 1895 and recognized internationally for its dulse-related products, has been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic began last March.
Killen and Dugas took over in January, and have completely renovated the space over the past few months.
Since taking over, the pair brought on Meaghan O’Brion as their baker, in addition to a few new menu options.
Killen says longtime Slocum & Ferris customers can rest assured they’ll also be bringing back plenty of old favourites when the restaurant reopens for the first time in 14 months.
