NB365: Pat And Emilie Of Cielo Glamping Maritime
This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we feature Pat Gauvin and Emilie LeBlanc of Cielo Glamping Maritime in Haut-Shippagan.
Pat is a filmmaker and photographer. His business Bosco Medias has been running for 10 years and counting in Shippagan. Pat has also been surfing in the region for just as long and wanted to share his passion for the sea with others. He wants to encourage people to enjoy the beautiful playground offered by the Acadian coast.
Organizing culinary experiences on the water is his way of making people aware of the importance of fully appreciating our marine heritage.
Emilie is a registered dietitian and former research assistant. Growing up on the family farm, Emilie later aspired to raise awareness of the importance of buying locally grown food. Concerned about the environment and the human footprint, she’s also on a personal journey to zero waste.
Together, they founded Cielo Glamping Maritime because they wanted to showcase our beautiful region and share our amazing local products. They are passionate about nature and happy to invite guests to enjoy it in the comfort of the domes.
