MONCTON – Casino New Brunswick could soon be under new ownership.
Shareholders of the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, which owns the facility, have voted in favour of a plan that would see the company sold.
During a special virtual meeting, they agreed to $45 per share, which would allow Apollo Global Management to take over.
The company plans to apply for final approval on Dec. 30.
If all goes well, they expect the sale will close in the second quarter of 2021.
