Saint John Returing To ‘Yellow’ Phase Of Recovery
FREDERICTON – New Brunswick chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell said Thursday that the Saint John region (Zone 2) will return to the Yellow level of pandemic recovery at 12:01 a.m. Friday.
Dr. Russell says while the outbreak in Zone 2 is not completely over, new case growth has slowed significantly and she adds all cases in Zone 2 are linked to a Zone 1 case.
At the Parkland Saint John seniors facility, Dr. Russell says testing is continuing and to date, there have been 18 confirmed cases – 11 residents, six employees and one off-site worker.
Public Health is reporting four new confirmed cases of Covid-19 today (December 10):
- three cases in Zone 4 (Edmundston region)
- one case in Zone 2 (Saint John region)
New Brunswick now has 75 active cases.
