Don Spencer Named VP of Technology for Remsoft, Xtivity
FREDERICTON — New Brunswick-based supply chain solutions company Remsoft has named Don Spencer as its new vice-president of technology for both Remsoft and Xtivity, an Ontario-based managed services firm Remsoft acquired back in March.
As vice-president of technology, Spencer will lead the development of Remsoft’s end-to-end ecosystem for forest management planning and Xtivity’s Pulse decision support software – extending capabilities across the value chain for our clients within forestry and asset-intensive industries.
“This is a critical new role that will guide SaaS software development within Remsoft and Xtivity, and we’re excited to bring the technology under Don’s expert leadership,” said Andrea Feunekes, Remsoft CEO, in a news release.
“Working closely with senior management, product managers and the technology teams within both companies, Don will ensure that future product development aligns with our strategic business goals and delivers customer value.”
Spencer joined Remsoft in 2017 as director of technology, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in the design and development of commercial software products and a track record for helping companies deliver best-in-class software solutions.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Don to Xtivity,” said Andrew Jordan, manager director at Xtivity. “The skills and experience Don brings to our team will be invaluable as we expand and mature our SaaS software solutions.”
