Saint John Print Shop Goes The Extra Mile For Its Customers And Community
SAINT JOHN – Driving overnight to Halifax to ensure a client had their product in their hands by morning is the kind of hands-on, quality customer service Select Printing & Signs provides its clients.
“We’ll do whatever it takes to get the job done and make sure we have a happy customer at the end of the day,” said Chris Howes, President of Select Printing.
Howes explained its staff members have the experience to fulfill the needs of businesses, groups and organizations, and help them with ideas to maximize the value of their work.
Select has a full-service sign and print shop, housing laminators, roll-to-roll printers and full-digital machinery and copiers, and in-house designers to help clients design a graphic and bring it to life.
They have a state-of-the-art flatbed printer that can print directly on materials such as plastic, fabric, glass and wood up to two inches thick.
“It allows a quicker turnaround, especially on larger orders,” he said. “We have a customer that does custom docks and we’re able to take the wooden deck boards and print directly on them, whether it be with the company logo, family name or whatever their heart desires.”
Howes said he likes the challenge of meeting customer’s requests and handling different projects.
“I think the biggest pride we have would be a happy customer,” he said. “It has been exciting to watch the company grow, and its growth is because of great customers, great staff and a great product.”
Select is a locally owned and operated company that takes great pride in serving its customers, and the community as well.
The company has been involved in numerous community and sporting events, including work with the 2016 Telus Cup and the Canada 55+ Games, which brought in much-needed tourism dollars to the city.
“We’re involved in our community because we do business in our community and we want to see our community flourish,” he said.
