Twenty-One Businesses And Organizations Finalists For Moncton Chamber Awards
MONCTON – The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Moncton announced the finalists of its 35th annual Business Excellence Awards on Wednesday.
The award gala will take place on Oct. 22 over Zoom this year, and will include filmed and live components. Tickets are available for three levels of registration. Attendees can watch for free; get a food tray delivered to their home or business; or get a food tray, a gift bag from the chamber, and exclusive access to a post-event show.
Chamber CEO John Wishart says with 2020 being a particularly difficult year due to Covid-19, it becomes even more important to celebrate the achievements and resilience of the business community.

The chamber will also present a Healthy Workplace award and an Inclusive Hiring award. The People’s Choice award will be given to a business in Greater Moncton based on online voting from the public, which closes at noon on October 16. All companies and organizations nominated for the award this year are eligible.
In addition, CCGM will introduce a new Business Person of the Year Award for an individual who is “a true community leader.” The winner will be chosen by the chamber’s board of directors.
This year’s event is done in partnership with Commercial Properties and the municipalities of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview.
