L.L. Bean Looking To Open Store In Halifax
HALIFAX- The popular American clothing and outdoor supplies company, L.L. Bean, is hoping to expand to Atlantic Canada soon.
In an email to Huddle Today, a spokesperson for L.L. Bean said they are looking for store locations within Halifax.
“We are actively looking at retail opportunities in the Halifax, N.S. area in the hopes of further expanding L.L.Bean’s footprint in Canada,” wrote the spokesperson. “We do not have an exact location or projected opening date to share at this time, but we look forward to sharing details in the near future.”
L.L. Bean was founded in 1912 by Leon Leonwood Bean. The company’s headquarters are still located in Freeport, Maine, where L.L. Bean first started more than 100 years ago. The company currently has 54 stores in the United States and 28 in Japan.
