Podcast: Don Mills Says It’s Time To Start Reopening Nova Scotia Economy
On this episode of the Huddle podcast, Home Office, Editor Mark Leger chats with Don Mills, business leader and newspaper columnist, about reopening Nova Scotia’s economy. The longtime pollster and thought leader says it could begin in the regions outside Halifax, where there are few cases of Covid-19. Mills also discusses the future of the New Brunswick economy as it moves through its current recovery phases.
Don and Mark chatted from their home offices – Mark in the south end of Saint John on the Bay of Fundy and Don in the Chester Basin on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Mark talked about craving a little self-isolation after spending weeks cooped up with young kids. Don talked about the joy of seeing his granddaughter on her fourth birthday.
Huddle’s new Home Office podcast features conversations with New Brunswick and Nova Scotia community leaders and entrepreneurs – from their homes during the Covid-19 crisis – about the issues and events that accelerate and enrich the growth of the region’s economy and culture.
