7 Companies Selected For Planet Hatch Sales Accelerator
FREDERICTON — Planet Hatch, the local entrepreneurship centre, has announced the newest group of companies participating in that the second cohort of its Sales Accelerator Program.
The program helps companies develop a comprehensive sales strategy and hone their skills for predictable and repeatable revenue growth.
“With all of the uncertainty that our local economy faces right now, it’s inspiring to work with innovative local companies that are pursuing growth opportunities ,” said Adam Peabody, director of Planet Hatch, in a news release. “This program is designed to accelerate that growth.”
Participating companies in the 2020 cohort are:
• Taylor Printing Group Inc: a fully integrated communications company providing print, mail and digital platforms creating an all-encompassing solution.
• Scottage Cheeze: selling dairy-free dips & spreads and vegan cheese alternatives.
• Scantranx Technologies Inc: an IT company with a focus on mobile innovations, and customized software applications for the retail sector.
• Naveco Power Inc: a company developing and managing clean energy projects to benefit the economy and environment while keeping investments local and profitable.
• Upfront Cosmetics: producing and selling shampoo and conditioning bars that contain no sulfites, no parabens, and no synthetic fragrance in an industry that is extremely under-regulated.
• MDMS Managed Digital Media Services Inc: a B2B online provider of marketing services, business listings, SEO optimization and social media management automation portal subscriptions.
• Colum Consultants Inc: provides Science Research and Experimental Development (SRED) consuktant services to innovative companies in the Maritimes.
In light of COVID-19, the program is being offered virtually for the first time. The program provides participants with comprehensive sales training from industry experts, access of up to $25,000 in funding to support market entry and business development activities, and access to a fully-funded post-secondary student intern to help throughout the summer.
“Our first cohort for this program produced exceptional results: a 32 percent increase in total customers, and a 190 percent increase in monthly recurring revenue for the average participant,” said Peabody. “We’re hoping for similar results this year, which will be a much-needed piece of good news for our local business community”.
The program was launched in March 2019 and was developed through a partnership model between Planet Hatch, Atlantic Growth Solutions, the University of New Brunswick, St. Thomas University, Future Ready NB, and the Impact Atlantic Loan Program.
