Staying Warm At The Camp With Tuxy’s Lodge Suit
MONCTON – A local company that strives to reinvent clothing recently launched a new product called the Lodge suit.
Tuxy has been steadily growing its collection of innovative one-piece suits since striking a deal with a couple of investors on Dragon’s Den.
CEO Derek Martin says the Lodge suit was inspired by his own love for the outdoors and the countless hours he spends at his camp in Miramichi.
“If I’m going to my camp or if I’m going to go fly fishing I have to put layers on, or if I want to chop wood, do work around my camp or go hunting. I wanted to really envision one suit that you can put on and be set for the rest of the day,” he says.

Martin says he wanted to create a suit with the needs of outdoor enthusiasts while maintaining Tuxy’s trademark comfort and style.
“When I explain it I always say ‘imagine if Patagonia and Carhartt came together and made a super comfortable onesie’ so that’s kind of the direction,” says Martin.
