Learn About Marketing Your Company From Guys Who Hustle To Be Heard
MONCTON – Dave Veale and Greg Hemmings have interviewed 250 people on The Boiling Point Podcast podcast, including writer and entrepreneur Seth Godin and astronaut Chris Hadfield. Dragon’s Den and Workopolis have called it a “must listen to” podcast. Just a few weeks ago, they recorded a podcast in front of hundreds of people as part of the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce “Outstanding Business Awards.”
Needless to say, they don’t “struggle to be heard.” They hustle to be heard and want to share some practical steps with small business owners, start-up entrepreneurs and solopreneurs who have a great product or service but are struggling to be heard in this noisy world.
On November 1 in Moncton they’re hosting a day-long training event that acts as an introduction to “The 4-Step Boiling Point process: how to be heard in a noisy marketplace.”
Hemmings is a documentary filmmaker who has travelled the world for his work. He owns a media production company called Hemmings House, which has produced and sold television shows to more than 65 countries.
Veale is an entrepreneur and leadership coach, the owner of Vision Coaching. He thrives on challenging people to be bold, to take risks and to realize their biggest dreams.
Hemmings and Veale infuse their passion for positive storytelling and leadership into their interviews with business leaders and entrepreneurs on The Boiling Point.
“When we started this podcast close to 6 years ago, we had no idea how this would impact Dave and my own education and enlightenment,” says Hemmings. “We have learned so much from the hundreds of guests on our show, now we want to share what we learned with our community.”
Veale says their role is to support the growth of other entrepreneurs by coaching them about how to effectively market their products and services.
“It has been incredibly inspiring to have the opportunity to share what Greg and I have learned through our interwoven entrepreneurial journeys,” says Veale. “The Boiling Point is a simple framework to support anyone wanting to effectively share and amplify their message, idea, product and/or service in this very noisy and chaotic marketplace.”
The Moncton event, which will take place at the Tide and Boar, will focus on sharing what they’ve learned from challenges early in their careers and in building The Boiling Point Podcast.
They will also be interviewing a variety of business leaders and subject matter experts, including marketing specialist Eleanor Austin, Nancy Mathis of the Wallace McCain Institute, Pierre Martell of Martell Custom Homes and (full disclosure!) me as part of the training sessions that day.
“Our main goal is for attendees to walk way, being able to follow our 4-Step Boiling Point Process to achieve real, measurable results in their businesses,” they say.
Veale and Hemmings hosted their first event like this last December in Saint John. They provided a recap of this event on a follow-up podcast.
