Moncton’s Qimple Receives Funding from Federal Government
MONCTON – Moncton startup Qimple just received a financial boost from the feds.
The federal government, through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), is investing $498,150 in the company in the form a conditional loan. The funding was announced at an event at Qimple headquarters on Friday afternoon.
The investment will help Qimple, whose platform works to improve the hiring experience for both companies and job seekers, with business development and marketing.
“It’s support like this from ACOA that enables us fully execute our business development and marketing activities,” said Qimple CEO Yves Boudreau, in a statement. We are proud to have our roots in Atlantic Canada and to have the opportunity to compete on a global level.”
This summer has been pretty good one for Qimple. In June, the company announced it raised 1.1 million in seed funding.
