7 Business People You Need to Follow On Twitter
The Twitterverse is full of amazing people killing it in business. Yet it’s hard to keep track of them all in a rapidly updating feed.
So we at Huddle created a list of some of our favourite business types. You can follow it here, or create a list of your own and share it with us.
Here are some of our favourite Twitter picks:
1) Tim Ferriss
Ferriss is an author, entrepreneur and angel investor/advisors to companies like to Facebook, Twitter, Evernote, StumbleUpon and Uber. Safe to say, he knows a thing or two about running a successful business. Lucky for us, he also tweets about it, often with links to his insightful blog posts and podcast.
Amoruso is the founder of NastyGal clothing and author of the New York Times bestseller #GirlBoss and host of Girlboss Radio. She’s helping lead a movement of encouraging women to take control of their careers, their lives and their destinies. She’s also super funny.
3) Elon Musk
Musk is behind some of the most innovative companies in the world. He’s the CEO and CTO of SpaceX; co-founder, CEO and product architect of Tesla Motors; and co-founder and chairman of SolarCity. He’s also the brains behind groundbreaking ideas like a high-speed transportation system known as the Hyperloop, and a VTOL supersonic jet aircraft with electric fan propulsion, known as the Musk electric jet. If he wasn’t a good guy, he’d be a Bond villain.
Vaynerchuk is a entrepreneur, investor, author, public speaker. He’s the founder of VaynerMedia and VaynerSports and the host of Ask Gary V. This guy has a lot of wisdom to share and he’s not afraid to ruffle some feathers when he shares it.
5) Katie Nolan
Nolan is the host of Emmy nominated Garbage Time with Katie Nolan, FS1’s late-night sports-comedy show with a feminist angle. Coming in at #12 on Fast Company’s 2016 list of most creative people in business, she’s also the only woman in the U.S. to host a nationally televised sport opinion show on their own. If you like sports, humour and strong intelligent women, she’s a must-follow.
6) Chris Sacca
Sacca is basically a legendary investor and entrepreneur in the startup world. He’s the head of Lowercase Capital, a venture capital fund that invests in seed and early-stage technology companies. His portfolio includes the likes of Twitter, Uber, Instagram and Kickstarter. He also makes appearances as a “Guest Shark” on ABC’s Shark Tank. A business Twitter list is not complete without following this rock star.
7) CEO RealTalk
CEO RealTalk was founded by Garnett Newcombe and Kay Woods. The company aims to “empower entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to maximize growth.” They are always sharing useful articles and resources on Twitter, so if you crave some food for thought, these are the ladies to follow.
