Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall Attending 2016 East Coast Energy Conference
SAINT JOHN – Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall will be making a keynote address in the port city next month.
The address will be part of the East Coast Energy Connection (ECEC) conference taking place in Saint John from June 14-15.
The conference has become one of the leading cross-border energy events. Hosted by the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce, it aims to connect leaders and stakeholders in the energy sector from across Canada and the United States.
Premier Wall’s platform has held a long-time focus on the oil and gas industry.
“Saskatchewan has emphasized the importance in developing the energy and resource sector and the long-term sustainability it can provide,” says David Duplisea, CEO of Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce. “We truly look forward to the key learnings Premier Wall can provide to continue to grow our energy sector.”
Wall has been a big defender of Saskatchewan’s trade, specifically in the energy and agriculture sector. Saskatchewan has a vested interest in the cross-country Energy East pipeline and the people working within the energy sector throughout the province.
“It is so pleasing to see East Coast Energy Connection grow and continue to attract such high calibre speakers. Each voice sparks inspiring discussion on growing our energy opportunities on the East Coast,” says Claire Ryan, Saint John Region Chamber board member and ECEC chair.
