Gallant Looking Forward To Working With New Federal Government
FREDERICTON – New Brunswick Premier Brian Gallant says he is looking forward to working with the newly sworn in federal government on job creation.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his 30 cabinet ministers were sworn in on Wednesday afternoon.
“Our government looks forward to working with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his ministers, and his government on creating jobs and growing the economy,” Gallant said in a statement.
Gallant also gave a shout out to New Brunswick MP Dominic LeBlanc, who was named leader of the government in the House of Commons.
“It is clear through the responsibilities he has been given that Dominic has the confidence and trust of the prime minister,” Gallant said. “Dominic will clearly be a leading voice on many key files affecting New Brunswick and our country and will be a key ally to our government in our efforts to create jobs and make life better for families.”
Gallant also congratulated the other newly appointed Atlantic ministers Scott Brison, Judy Foote and Lawrence MacAulay.
