Tuck Studio Moving To New Home
SAINT JOHN – Saint John’s Tuck Studio is moving to some new digs in the city’s uptown core.
Currently located in the city’s north end, Tuck Studio is a premier furniture store in the city. In the new year, they will be moving to 124 Prince William Street, also known as the historical Palantine building, constructed after the the city’s Great Fire in 1877-8.
“Over the last three years we have been extremely fortunate to experience tremendous growth in our small business, so much so that we’ve outgrown our current space,” said Tuck Studio owner, Judith Mackin. “With the support of our community we’ve managed to establish a loyal and growing clientele who have repeatedly shown us they are dedicated to supporting a small local design store. They are clients who care deeply about the furnishings, décor, art and the design services we provide.”
Mackin’s sister company, PUNCH INSIDE, a design firm specializing in residential and commercial interiors, will also be moving its offices into the 2,300 square foot space. For the new location, Mackin will be hiring more employees, expanding its hours and increasing its furnishing and décor offerings. She also plans to work with more local artists such as Pamela Marie Pierce.
Tuck Studio will continue to operate from its existing location until the new space is complete. They are expected to move to the new location this March.
