New Brunswick Companies at Demo Day: SnapAP
With Propel ICT’s Demo Day coming up on June 26 in Halifax, we’re chatting with the New Brunswick companies who will be pitching at the Marriott Harbourfront.
Today we chat with Jean-Daniel Drapeau, co-founder of SnapAP.
What’s your pitch?
We are a software company operating in the Procure-to-Pay space, which means that our platform streamlines the procurement, accounts payable and banking for a company. Our technology is currently used in Canada, US, Australia and recently in the Maldives. We have processed hundreds of thousands of transactions.
What’s your story?
SnapAP is my second startup. The first one was a successful supply chain software company operating in the mining field. It was launched in 2001. The company technology is currently under a long-term license agreement with a global mining firm.
My partner has over 35 years of experience in process improvement. He is a master black belt and managed projects at a global scale. We teamed up in 2009 and started the development of this tool.
What’s next for you?
We are focused on bringing our tool to market and developing our brand. Our technology is mature and has been used with beta customers around the world. We are ready to push it to the masses.
