Two cruise ships called on Halifax on April 26–the first in more than two years–marking the official start of the city’s cruise season.
The Port of Halifax says its cruise season will begin on April 26 and run until November 5. During that time, 152 cruise ships are scheduled to call on the port.
After a two-year hiatus, cruise ships will be returning to the Port City in just over two months.
Port Saint John is working closely with Transport Canada, the provincial government, and municipalities on what a cruise restart might look like.
