Sushi Blossom Restaurant Opens In The Kennebecasis Valley
QUISPAMSIS – The Kennebecasis Valley has a new Japanese restaurant with Sushi Blossom now in full bloom on the Hampton Road.
“We want to share our food and our culture with customers,” said Jenny Kim, co-owner of Sushi Blossom.
Her experience selling sushi and Korean food at the Kingston Farmers Market and Queen Square Farmers Market, along with co-owner Jennifer Jang’s certification for Japanese cuisine from South Korea, led to the two women opening their restaurant.
Kim and Jang are both originally from South Korea.
Sushi Blossom had a soft opening on January 27 at its 174 Hampton Road location and will hold a grand opening later this month. Its menu offers a wide variety of Japanese and Asian cuisine, with an emphasis on noodle and ramen dishes. And sushi, of course.
The restaurant just opened but the early reviews on Facebook are positive:
“Awesome Food. Very friendly staff. Best noodles around!”
“Awesome and friendly staff! The food is amazing and everything is so cute and clean! so happy and cannot wait to be a new regular place for us.”
“The service and the food were both 10/10. The variety of the menu and superb product will ensure this new restaurant succeeds. I couldn’t help myself, the food was too yummy to wait to take a bite.”
The restaurant offers dine-in as well as take-out, with its hours of operation from 11:30 am to 9 pm, Monday-to-Friday and Saturdays, and from 4 pm to 9 pm on Sundays.
“I love the community and seeing people cozy and comfortable eating and making people happy,” said Kim. “Maybe in the future if we are successful in Quispamsis we can [open another location].”
