Source Atlantic, McCain Foods Named Among Canada’s Best Managed Companies
SAINT JOHN– Two New Brunswick companies are being recognized nationally for their overall business performance and sustained growth.
Source Atlantic and McCain Foods have been named among Canada’s Best Managed Companies. They received this title along with other businesses from across Canada.
Now in its 25th year, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business award programs recognizing innovative businesses. Every year hundreds of companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.
The Best Managed program is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, Canadian Business, Smith School of Business, TMX Group and MacKay CEO Forums.
“Best Managed winners should be extremely proud of their accomplishments,” said Peter Brown, partner at Deloitte and the co-leader of Canada’s Best Managed Companies program, in a release.
“The marketplace is changing rapidly and this incredible class of companies’ commitment and entrepreneurial leadership help drive business success that is critical for the health of our economy.”
This is Source Atlantic’s second consecutive year winning the designation.
“We are very proud of the recognition this year and to be included alongside Canada’s best managed companies,” said Source Atlantic president Steve Drummond.
“The Source Atlantic team is passionate about delivering value and exceptional service to our customers. We continue to invest in our people, in our facilities and in the right technology to support our growing operation.”
This year’s winners of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies award will be honoured at the annual Canada’s Best Managed Companies gala in Toronto on April 11, 2018.
