PAL Airlines Adds Moncton-To-Newfoundland Flight Routes
ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – PAL Airlines is adding two new routes that will connect New Brunswick and Newfoundland to its winter flight schedules.
The company is adding a Moncton-Deer Lake route and a Moncton-Wabush route, which will begin in early January, according to spokesperson Joseph Galimberti.
The routes will also serve return flights to Moncton. The Moncton-Wabush flights will be direct.
The new routes allow for “easy expansion” should seasonal demand increases, the company said in a release.
The new flights also strengthen the company’s footing in Moncton ahead of the Moncton-Ottawa flight that it plans to launch as soon as travel restrictions are reduced.
St. John’s-based PAL Airlines already serves more than 25 passenger and cargo destinations in Atlantic Canada and Quebec.
“PAL Airlines continues to manage our way forward based on a strategy of staying close to our customers and connected to the communities we serve,” said company president Calvin Ash in the release. “We’re confident the growth we’ve announced today responsibly matches our capacity to market demand while allowing us to continue meeting the needs of our customers and expanding our network in the near future.”
The company also boosted the frequency of flights in its Quebec routes and enhancing connectivity between our Montréal and Wabush hubs.
The airline said the additions are meant to meet market demand, solidify its new fleet of Q400 Dash 8 aircraft in regular commercial service, and boost connectivity across its network.
PAL Airlines said it will keep an eye out in the market as this new schedule is released, and enhance scheduled services to meet community needs.
