Nova Scotia-based Eastlink Launches Wireless Service in Greater Moncton
MONCTON – Nova Scotia cable television and telecommunications company Eastlink has launched its services in the Greater Moncton Area.
A sister company to Oxford Frozen Foods and part of the Bragg Group of Companies, Eastlink will bring some new competition to the area.
“We are excited to bring our award-winning wireless service into New Brunswick,” said Lee Bragg, Eastlink CEO, in a release. “Our goal is to deliver the best possible experience for our customers. We do that by investing in the latest network technology, providing great value for money, and by delivering customer service that exceeds our customers’ expectations.”
Eastlink describes its approach as “surprisingly simple.” It says it will offer competitive Canada-wide coverage to customers along with its easyTab® model and an easy switch-over process. Grand opening celebrations will take place throughout the weekend at the new Eastlink location in Moncton’s Champlain Mall.
“We’re proud to say that we’re not like other cellphone providers,” said Matthew MacLellan, Eastlink Wireless president, in a release. “We listen to what customers want and deliver more of what is important to them –simple plans at lower prices, together with leading network speed, extensive coverage, and exceptional customer service.”
