Stephen McNeil says his government will cut the corporate tax rate from 16 to 14 percent and the small business tax rate from 3 to 2.5 percent.
The company general manager said a lot still needs to happen before the mill can start running again – including an environmental assessment – but that management remains “committed to Nova Scotia,” and is working with the provincial government to get everything in order.
