N.B.’s Kognitiv Spark Named A Deloitte ‘Company To Watch’
FREDERICTON- A New Brunswick company specializing in augmented reality is being recognized nationally as a ‘company to watch.’
Kognitiv Spark received a Companies-to-Watch award as a part of Deloitte’s annual Technology Fast 50™ Awards. The award highlights emerging companies that exhibit strong growth and show potential to be a future candidate for the Technology Fast 50 award. Kognitive Spark was the only company in Atlantic Canada to receive an award in this category.
“We’re excited to be receiving this recognition from Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50™ Awards. It stands as a testament to everything we’ve built here at Kognitiv Spark and the efficiencies our customers have been able to achieve using our product,” said Kognitiv Spark CEO Yan Simard, in a release.
Kognitiv Spark’s flagship solution, RemoteSpark, connects remote workers to subject matter experts to facilitate complex troubleshooting and task support, reducing equipment downtime and cutting costly expert travel. Using the Microsoft HoloLens, RemoteSpark allows for a shared voice and video connection between expert and remote users, multi-step animated holograms, task-relevant content delivery, field-of-view annotations, and IoT data integrations.
“Companies-to-Watch winners deserve recognition for their early-stage growth, bold entrepreneurship and forward-thinking,” said Erica Pretorius, partner and national leader for the Technology Fast 50 program. “By demonstrating courage, seeking opportunities, and taking calculated risks, these outstanding companies are key to the success of the technology sector. Every winner should feel a sense of pride for this success, and motivation to continue striving to succeed in the future.”
New Brunswick-based IntroHive was also named a 2019 Technology Fast 50 winners. Like Kognitiv Spark, they were also the only Atlantic Canadian company among the winners in their category.
