N.B. Economic Development Organizations Launch COVID-19 Website For Businesses
MONCTON – The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Moncton has created a website as a one-stop-shop hub for COVID-19 information for businesses, in collaboration with economic development stakeholders in southeastern New Brunswick.
Opportunities New Brunswick, 3+ Corporation, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Working NB and municipal partners from Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview have joined the chamber in creating the website to provide business owners and operators the most up-to-date and comprehensive information on the pandemic and the business response.
3+ CEO Susy Campos said in a release that the site provides one spot for businesses to go online to get the most up-to-date information, as it changes quickly.
While each organization will still have their own website links to COVID-19 information specific to their mandates, the new website aims to serve as “a regional hub and gateway to all programs and services,” said chamber CEO John Wishart in the release.
The site includes information on federal and provincial assistance programs for business owners and their staff, and important links. It will also include updates and information from the Greater Shediac Chamber of Commerce, CBDC Westmorland, the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport, the Greater Moncton Local Immigration Partnership and other partners.
The website will also include webinars for business owners that are produced by ONB, the chamber and 3+. In addition, businesses can access business continuity plan templates, checklists and other tools on the site.
The website will be updated daily and will remain active throughout the pandemic.
