Moncton Beer Garden Euston Park Social Will Officially Open May 24
MONCTON – Euston Park Social, a beer garden and shipping container restaurant at 5 Euston St., will have its grand opening on May 24.
Owners Gene and Susan Cormier envision Euston Park Social as space for Monctonians to gather while enjoying food and drinks on a nice day. But with the weather still cooler than expected, the Cormiers have prepared some heaters at the patio that can fit 100 people. Umbrellas also tower over all the seatings for rainy days.
“We want to call it a beer garden because it’s really more about having fun and it’s the style. There are picnic tables, it’s completely outdoors,” Gene told Huddle in March. “We just want to have a place where we like to go hang out as well.”
The restaurant is currently in a soft-opening stage and will host an invite-only opening with Moncton’s Mayor on May 23 before opening it up to the public.

Located close to the Hal Betts Sportsplex and the Riverfront Park Trail, and within the downtown core, Gene pictures customers coming to have a drink or food after an active day outdoors. In colder seasons, the restaurant will open for events like Oktoberfest or Christmas markets.
While it will serve “classics” like burgers, hotdogs and sausages, Gene is adding flavours from places like the Middle East and Southeast Asia, where he’s worked as a chef.
The menu currently features Persian butter corn cob, tofu skin skewer, Bratwurst pogo, smoked herring banh mi, coconut cauliflower tacos, hand-stretched pizza, a salad with vegetables from local farms, and more. There’s also a kids’ menu served with juice boxes and apple slices.
For beverages, Euston Park Social offers local craft beers and kombucha, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic slushies, soft-serve ice cream, and more. It will serve a brunch menu on Saturdays, Sundays and long weekends once it’s fully open.
