The Moncton region (Zone 1) will move to the orange level of Covid-19 reopening, and the Edmundston region (Zone 4) will move to the red level, as of midnight Tuesday.
On Thursday, Public Health reported 16 new cases of Covid-19, with five cases in the Moncton area, nine cases in the Edmundston region, and one case each in the Fredericton and Bathurst regions.

Moncton also broke a record for building permits, but the mayor acknowledged that it must do more to address social concerns like the need for more affordable housing.

Moncton Cares is a non-profit organization with a web platform and mobile app powered by founder Ketan Raval’s tech company Let’s Nurture, which aims to help newcomers with everything from buying a car to financial literacy to quarantining during Covid-19.
