Old Navy Will Open In Fredericton In Late August
FREDERICTON – Old Navy is working towards a late August opening, said media representative Heather Hopkins.
In early January 2019, the public learned that Old Navy was coming to town when Regent Mall’s owner posted a map on its web site that showed the clothing retailer in the space formerly occupied by H&M. Earlier that month, H&M had announced it would close its store in Fredericton.
Six months later, Old Navy is well on its way to having its new store open in late summer.
Old Navy, a clothing and accessories store owned by the Gap, currently has locations in Moncton and Saint John, but not Fredericton.
According to Myrna Brideau, Regent Mall’s Marketing Manager, Old Navy can now complete “their final touches” in the space.
“[It’s] very exciting news,” she said.
An official opening date has yet to be announced.
