Nordia Adding About 140 Jobs to Saint John Office
SAINT JOHN– After winning a major, multi-year contract to become the primary customer service provider for what it calls “one of Canada’s most iconic national corporations,” Nordia Inc. announced Tuesday that the company will be adding almost 400 new jobs over the next year, including nearly 140 at Nordia’s Saint John call centre location.

The company said it won’t reveal any more information on which company the contract is with, but did say Nordia “will be providing a variety of customer service solutions for consumer, business and commercial markets.”
Nordia’s Saint John office is located in the Prince Edward Square Mall in the city’s uptown and features an employee cafeteria, onsite gym, employee lounge with games, TV and internet access and heated underground parking. The centre currently employs more than 300 customer service representatives, support staff and managers. The company says it generates about $12.5 million per year to the local economy in wages and services.
The company is already begun recruiting for the new positions and will be holding a Career Day on Wednesday, February 28 from 11 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Prospective candidates will be able to meet recruiters and learn more about the current opportunities as well as get a tour of Nordia’s exceptional customer service centre.
