NB365: Greg Corrigan Of Happy Craft Brewing In Moncton

There are a couple of things that convinced me to create a business.

The main reason is my desire to create. I love looking at the full picture of what we are trying to accomplish but also focusing on the details that it takes to make it happen.

This is true of the larger project, building the brewery, making it run and true for each individual beer.

The coolest part of supporting local is the people.

When you support local, you meet people who are passionate about what they do. They have decided to put in the effort to create.

At Happy Craft that is reflected in the tradespeople who helped build the brewery, the musicians who play in the taproom and the restaurants we partner with.

The benefits of supporting local are economics and vibrancy. Economics is obvious, keeping dollars local benefits our community by giving others the opportunity to purchase locally.

Equally interesting is the vibrancy it adds to the community. Every community benefits from engaged, interesting and creative people. Local entrepreneurs create spaces, services and products for the local economy and enjoyment of all while enriching our community.
